*Rover 75 1.8 connoisseur Tempest Grey **SOLD**
Unfortunately (for me) Fortunate (for one of you lucky lucky people).......
I let my heart rule my head, and when selling my 75 for a much needed Van, I spotted Steve916's Gorgeous Beastie for sale, and my heart took over. So the inevitable has happened, the old van has packed up and given up the Ghost, so the Rover will have to go. Here' s a list of what has been done(From Steve's Listing, plus a few things he forgot to mention). Im sure you can ask me or him anything about the car. Mechanicals :- 2005 54 model 1.8 N/A engine Head gasket, belts and water pump done 6 months ago by Dave in Derby. New clutch by Andy Willi last year. 96000 miles 5 months tax. 3 months mot New discs and pads all round Mods list. Real walnut dash Walnut mk1 steering wheel Hi-Line ipk 11 spoke alloys x 5 with 2 brand new front tyres and good rears 225/40/18 DRL's with built in indicators HID headlights Sean ( Radioguy) DD Unit Freeview TV Tuner Rear camera Large Rear seat drop down DVD screen Marmite amber ambient lights in door pockets Auto Boot Lift Rear Spoiler Electric leather ash grey piped seats. Fronts heated. Mk2 badges changed to mk1 badges ( look better) Air induction kit Handbrake compensator Plenum inspection hole Bonnet cable splitter Coolant level sensor Coolant temperature display Auto Dimming rear view mirror LED interior lights Chrome door mirrors Electric sun blind Fog lights Fan resistor Twin horns VVC Inlet manifold Powerfolds 12v Socket in Cubby Hole Usb in rear cubby Hole Active Sub in boot (With wiring for leisure Battery) Illuminated Steering Controls Polished Door Finishers Rear Parking Sensors Loads I've probably missed. I bought this just a fortnight ago, and its the best 75 Ive owned, with superb MPG, and all those little important things done, and some really nice touches (incredibly well done, a credit to Steve) It was a journey from hell to collect and a round trip of over 450 miles and a very late night. Car is based in Hartlepool. Obviously need a pretty quick sale, so to reflect this I'm looking for £1800 Any questions or offers, drop me a PM. Thanks for looking. May have a few other pics if needed. Some more pics LED interior lights and electric sun blind Last edited by A19_Graham; 19th November 2013 at 18:48.. |

Just bolt a glass rack on the side Graham, you won't be so "disappointed" then

Well I've gone from getting about 260 - 300 from the V6 to a Tank,
To getting 400+ with the 1.8, and I run with auto air con permanently on. I don't dawdle neither Brian, Ive been so tempted!!! The tourer sometimes ended up virtually a van sometimes. Just have to wait until funds permit, and start all over again. Last edited by Dragrad; 19th November 2013 at 22:42.. Reason: consecutive posts - use the Edit ;-) |
