That's what I need... a SatNav Guru

Although I expect that you have (almost?) reached Guru status I will wait and hope that Tony drops by.

OK, I think I have to give the unit it's own name since it has clearly developed a personality.

I have decided to call it Jean. And this is what she has done to me:
  • She decided to solve the SatNav issue all by here self
  • She also decided to have the Framework error return

I don't mind the first but am not happy with the second issue.

When I start Jean she gives me:
Quote:
The application Google Services Framework (process com.android.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I get the message about three times. I have been told it could be an app that is not compatible but I have only installed PowerAmp (Pro) with a skin. PowerAmp is working perfectly.

Any thoughts?

I would suggest going into the application manager and clearing the google frameworks cache and data and hopefully that will clear it.
Failing that a factory restore

Hi Jeff,

The cache is empty and I was hesitant to clear the data. The warning message was rather frightening. Will try to clear as soon as I get to the car.

Thanks!

Tx in advance.
I sometimes see that in Igo8 - I just click on ignore and it carries on to plot it. I've never been able to work out what it was complaining of.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

OK, cleared the data today.

The bad news is: the problem is not solved
The good news is: the number of errors went down to 2

Hate to have to reinstall the firmware again but I guess there is nothing else I can try
