Default Navall II

Hi Jeff,

Great to see you again earlier. Couple of queries:

1) I have a lot of hiss when the phone rings in Satnav mode--a problem with Igo Primo software?

2) When I switch on my lights the background lighting of the Navall and its screen flicker rapidly. Any ideas?

Regards,

Dave

that will probably be because you have your instrument lights dimmed, the navall doesn't like the dimmer being set too low, turn it up and it should stop it.

Hi Dave,

The lights will be because the dashboard dimmer is set low as Dave just said, turn it up on the lights control and that will stop, LEDs don't like being dimmed

The Hiss I'm not sure about.
I'll see if I can work that one out Sir and report back.
One thing to suggest, maybe change the voice setting on the satnav and see if that solves it

Hope you had a safe journey home and you found the garage at Brentwood ok

Yep, I did that also and it works really well.

Most of the double dins that I have fitted to the R75 have had an issue with the lights feed on the radio loom. I should have done this mod years ago.

Perhaps worth finding the thread and getting a mod to make it a sticky as it's relevant to all versions of double dins

Would be very interested! Turning the knob does the trick but would like it 'to be perfect'.

Regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I forgot all about that 'little mod'
Will be well worth having it as a sticky for future reference.

Spoke to Sean and told him about the tyre pressure monitoring system by the way.
Will let you know about the hiss tomorrow when I have one on the bench
