Morning all,

Yesterday we had a nice journey to Heathrow no snow and Terminal 4 was very quiet with hardly anyone checking in. Thank you Andy - Shiner for dropping us off at the hotel - how very kind of you to help us out in that way. Last night the hotel was also quiet, bedroom nice, warm and ultra clean. This morning down to have the full English, a little treat. We are going to take our time as our flight is not due to leave until late afternoon.

We have freezing fog to greet the day. But it’s a lovely sunrise.

There is a toy fair on in Newton Abbot which I might go to, then there is also a Macmillan coffee and Cake event on in Lympsham this afternoon which I might also attend. The Yellow One will be going

-4c showing on the mercury here again this morning .
Looks like it is going to be a crisp and bright day though.

Enjoy your breakfast Phil & Jessica and have a nice flight back to warmer climes.

Today I shall be cooking Honey&Mustard Roast Gammon in the slow cooker and finishing off in the oven. The usual trimmings to accompany the gammon will be served
