Exclamation V6 Owners check the front connection to the coil

might be worth checking your middle front connection to the coil, where the clip on the rad hose is connected (yellow circle) part of the clip is left rubbing on the wire that connects to the coil for the middle fron plug which as can be seen in the red circle wear away the plastic and starts to rub the wire away give yours a check just in case and it might be worth putting a few layers on elctrical tape around it even if not worn just in case
pic follows as soon as aproved, of course my plug has been disscontected in the pic

Thanks for the tip John. Heading out now to check both the cars. It's just stopped raining! Hey, isn't it supposed to be mid summer at your place? At least we have an excuse, it's winter, and a cold one at that.

Thanks for the tip John!
Haven't got any KV6 in at present and I really miss them.

Sound similar to the Rover 600 L series diesel wiring loom that rubs through on the engine cover near the timing belt cover!
