This is a PCB, isn't it? But all the PCBs are not the sam as I understand. I will aks here in Slovenia at Webasto. They have already told me to come to test my FBH and then they see what could be done.

That PCB is not suitable, if you look carefully it does not have the pins in the connector for the water pump

Personally I am not going to bother with PCBs from Ebay I have bought two so far both allegedly brand new, both seem faulty.

Net result for me this exercise is far to time consuming and is starting to make a hole in my pocket so I don't think I will continue with it.

Is it a common fault? Maybe an easy fix...

Do I need another interface for this in addition to the Ibus one?

given thenumber of duff webasto's knocking around with PCB issues it would be good if we could get some real technical info from them to enable us to fault find and sort the issues- the guys in the know at webast know there are issues but wont release data - as an electronics engineer Ifind it all very frustrating

Knowledge is power - and in this case money as you have to pay over £200 for a new PCB/heat exchanger assembly.

Nope the resler will work fine with fbh connected to the car but will not work stand alone on the bench and I can't work out why.

As an ex Avionics engineer I find it annoying as well Steve

Just come to this post having bought a Diesel.

I can guess why the Resler doesn't work off the car: pull up resistor to 12v. It's only present in one unit (BCU I think) so needs to be added if that's not in circuit.

I guess the webasto one has this.

If it will help, I'll try to find what value.

there's a few threads around, and some refer to the Wbus, which we don't use.

Does anyone know if the unit actually supports w bus?

Seems an eaier way of connecting stuff up.
