Both the BM24 and BM54 have dual tuners so TMC function is full time on both of these.
I would like TMC to work but don't you need a certain disc for nav unit, is there any other requirements

Btw anything on PM for HK?

You just need the latest TMC enabled disc which I think is around 2012-3 I think, ebay will tell you
It did work on Classic FM and also Heart.

Nice thread here
Glad to see RichardP is willing to improve the firmware for our cars...

Tony that's a great piece of work. I had no idea that the intravee software had been developed to this extent. When I first fitted the system to my car some 5 years ago, none of this extra functionality had been thought of.

It's great that we now have access to extra functions on an already superb system. I'll be upgrading my 2009 firmware this weekend to see it all working for myself.

Well done again Tony

Thank you Reebs

I had read your thread prior to installing my Highline system as I wanted iPod connectivity in long term. Through reading up I heard about the Extra functionality which seems to of grown over time and is under constant development with RichardP. He is now looking at thing specific to our cars too

Also now the User Interface setting is done automatically in the IV, so if you buy new one or upgrade to latest firmware there is no need for PC etc.

Look forward to your comments once you have it updated.

Tony

Well done Tony, I echo Reeb's comments and didn't realise that The Intravee had moved on so much. I am now seriously thinking of replacing the Grom with one to get the extra functionality.

As the CD changer converter harness is no longer obtainable do you have the BMW part numbers for the individual plugs so I can make up the harness?

Regards Neil

Hi Neil,

Seems to be taking few people by surprise what it is capable of doing now, but that's all good. It captures lot information we really want like coolant temp. One thing I haven't posted up yet is you can configure the Headers to display information as you want, so as you will see I have engine temp in my
Top right hand block, so can check out corner of eye even if have other IV options on.

I don't know as I got mine from a breakers but I shall have a look.

Update*. Had look on Realoem and believe it is number 2 and 8 of below:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...80&hg=61&fg=15

2 - 61138377072. Universal socket housing uncoded 3 POL.

8 - 61136954554. Universal socket housing uncoded 6 POL.

I will ask at BMW centre tomorrow if I get chance.

Or eBay
