Mines manual as I didn't like the drop in mpg around town. If I was doing more than a few miles each way to work I would have one.

Me too, hence why i didn't buy this one, i originally went to look with the intention of stripping it to use the good bits and panels on mine but i couldn't justify wrecking a good car so i left it in the hope it would sorted and saved

Matter of opinion I suppose, all I know is when there's no decent Mark 1's left and I have to buy a facelift, first thing I'll do is fit a mark 1 front and rear end. IMHO the stylists got it 100% right first time round.

If I was selling my pre facelift zt cdti (which I'm not) I'd be looking for around this price. Good luck with sale x

Hi Dan, yes it is! I haven't bumped it recently as after the xmas and new year break I decided to give the car a run after it had spent a week covered in snow and ice and it had developed a new noise which turned out to be the crank pulley.
The car is currently having this replaced and will be available next week, however I already have a couple of potential buyers very keen to view when it is ready. Cheers, Ken.
