Most of all I want to be able to skip forwards and backwards in the current playlist/album with the steering wheel remote. Everything else I can do directly on the iPod (if the connects2 device lets me). If the HU display doesn't work 100% is not important.

I'd be happy to try out one of your kits!

As you say Erik

The problem lies in not displaing the information on the Symphony display.

Switching between tracks etc is OK
