Thumbs down Where's me 16:9 Display Gone?

Restarted car to continue journey and radio audio etc works but have lost picture on screen, no glow nothing as if dead. same on TV/Setup/SatNav?Audio Displays its as if LCD rapped up!

On getting back home I have switched screen back to old 4:3 unit and thats all working fine. Don't like the sound of this.

Any Ideas anybody? Keith?

No glow at all? not even the white back light around the screen edges?

If not do the buttons still work? if they do I think the hi voltage supply to the backlight may have failed or possibly the lamp itself but that is less common.

You may need to find a specialist repairer as I have read thay can be fixed

Thanks for advice Keith, no glow at all just like a Laptop LCD Backlight going, all buttons work if you know which ones to push, but have now gone back to the 4:3 so will see if I can find a repairer or spares source.

Thanks again for Help & Advice Keith, never thought of the BM site, had a look on X5World though. Will let you know when solved & repaired, I so miss my 16:9 screen & can't really afford another one at the moment.

Have joined just awaiting confirmation.
