I'll be glad when this is all over but have I done enough?
I'll be glad when all this beeping painting is over I've had enough of painting now.
My stone chip stuff has fully hardened for the last few days, just waiting really so I can give it a top coat and be done with it. I hope too god this works in total I've spent on rust proofing everything. £200 pounds worth paint has gone into this car. Hopefully I've stopped judgement day or delay it even longer. So that's 3 coats of red oxide. 3 coats of British layland anti rust paint. 3 coats of Gravitex stone chip paint. Finally 1 coat done other two too go Hammerite garage door paint Oxford blue. So do you reckon I've done enough I like too think I have.

I think your right there.
From all this I've learned one thing, I'm officially B@Q favourite customer. amount of times I've been back and fourth stocking on............. Paint. I'll be really beeped off if this even shows just a tiny amount of brown cancer.

If there was rust there before then all you have done is seal it in, it will continue to rust behind all that paint. If there was no rust then probably a bit of overkill really, should be no need for all those coats..
