Default MG-ZT Rover 75 Head Unit with GPS RDS and TMC

Okay,
Here we go again ! The other threads are too long and the unit has undergone several changes so I thought a good idea to Update here a start Fresh yet again.

History Of this Head Unit on the Forum
For those that Like to read or want to follow the history, there are a few MAJOR threads prior to this One.
First thread
Next Thread (When we Obtained the RDS and Rear IPOD)

There are Many Others concerning Reverse Cameras, Freeview Receivers and some How To's. If you cannot Find I can either answer your specific question or Point you in the right direction. The members of this forum are amazing, and dedicated to their cars !

Current Units and Accessories available

There are 3 "designs" available and they can be ordered from our website.
I have changed the website prices to reflect forum members prices since only 1 unit was sold to a non forum member in 4 months.

Design 1 With Analog TV (NO RDS NO TMC)

Design 2 With RDS (NO ANALOG TV NO TMC)

Design 3 With RDS and TMC (NO Analog TV)

You can also order DVB-T (Freeview receivers) , Reverse Cameras Specifically for the Rover/MG, LED Reverse Tail Lights, LED Light Kits , Maps and More there !

These units have Been In Constant development with the help of the good members of the forum.

Sept 3rd Tony Fry has received the Sample Unit with TMC and installed, tested and found that some things had changed and others require factory Clarification
I Will clarify Here, On THIS POST to try and keep things Clear.

Development AS of September 3rd, 2010

1/. The TMC works very well

2/. The factory flatly refuses to rewrite the RDS , it is off the table for now

3/. We have an issue about Antenna connections. We think that we need a splitter to service the TMC and the Radio at the same time but we will either provide the adapter with the radio unless the factory has some other solution. This will not stop production as we have already sourced the Adaptor ourselves

4/. They changed the method to modify the LOgos, at first we thought the feature had disappeared and we could not and would not release to production without that feature for very obvious reasons. This AM we were told that the method had changed and Tony tried the new method and it works. Resolved

5/. We have to get clarification on the LOUD button which is working in reverse Loud button will only boost the bass, if you make any adjustments to the Bass and or Treble the Loudness works in reverse, I.E it lowers the Bass & Treble, this was not like it on the old unit, you could push the loud button and still add extra Bass and or Treble.

6/. We are trying to clarify HOW to connect Sub-Woofer. It seems they have changed the connection for the sub-woofer. This is Not determined yet.

Both my Agent and the factory are made aware of these items and Several phone calls have been made to accent the importance of getting it All done !
FAST !

I really admire the helpfulness of everyone on here and above all patience with our friends at the factory in China. You could write a book about this it's been so long!

Well done Sean, we're almost there...well, you've gotta source that steering wheel and the MG7 climate control panel for me yet...

I make it two problems left to solve, the loud button and the sub-woofer connection issue.

If this is out of place in this thread then the mods can delete it.

Here is my "How To" on installing the Reversing Camera". CLICK ME

This is how I wired up the Steering Wheel Paddles...

Actually this thread may be a new chance to start again with a collection of all the useful info like "How to"s, vids etc. All other discussions should be on the other threads IMHO.

Edit - here is the steering controls vid:
