Hi Lord Sward,

That's an amazing looking car. I still think the sandstone beige interior works really well with the deep reds, but you don't tend to see it all that often. I'm afraid I am really looking for a manual though. If it was, I'd have snapped it up! Many thanks for posting the pictures though.

I will be going to the Pride of Longbridge though, so if you, or anyone else reading is going to be there, I'll see you there, with my 3 door K reg 214 : )

I'll see you at Longbridge then.

Personally speaking, I couldn't be forced into a manuel R40, although the 190 I ran was alright. Two pedals all the way for me.

I don't think it causes any noticable fuel consumption issues either.

A few years ago, I was regularly jumping between a 75 1.8, a ZT190 and a 2.5Auto. It was always a pleasure and a relief to get into the auto. It just added a lovely 'waft' factor. You can go just as quick too, with a lot less effort.

Well, I'm still looking. Thanks to everyone who's been keeping an eye out, but there hasn't been anything that seems to be quite what I'm looking for yet Boo-urns. If anyone fancies selling up and has a car I may be interested in, feel free to drop me a PM
