Default touch up paint

Fitted aftermarket reverse sensors on the tourer and i want to colour code, I went to the local factors and they only list older range colours, went to halfords who advertise 40,000 different colours that can be mixed and they dont have it on computer. If it was monogram i could understand it but it is Royal Blue!

Is that Royal Blue Pearl JFM, you should be able to get a touch up pen from Rimmers, that would be sufficient for the job.

Hi,
You have the same colour I have and I got some mixed at Halfords, no problem. They may say they haven't got the code (JFM) and if they searched under Rover thats correct because its listed under (wait for it!!) BMC. HTH's

Hi Sworks,
Yes, it was(is) a good match, I have a scuff mark on my front bumper now, so I'm thinking of getting some more but in an aerosol. You do have the choice, its around £8 for the tin and £11 for the aerosol I think.

Regards

John

Last time I got the Genuine Paint through XPart, it was cheaper.
Normally get in Next Day or Max of 2 Days, if not in stock at branch.

http://www.jawel.co.uk/

I popped into their local branch by me, and said I wanted to do some touch up work on a few scratches and car park wounds. The chap came out to my car and took a few details from the good old plate at the base of the passenger side pillar, and within ten minutes I was on my way home with a freshly mixed can.
I paid £20.06 for Primer (300ml), Lacquer(300ml) and a 400ml paint match.

If P+P is not justified, let me know and I will have a bash at trying to get some sort of deal going for this fine example of a club.

Strangely the manager drives a Racing green Conn SE, said he would browse the Forums when he gets a minute. I will be dropping in again when I go for other paint and worshop equipment.
