The above (Breakdown Assist) provides cover for anyone who happens to be driving the car and will recover it plus 7 people in the car, overnight accommodation paid for them all if needed. If it cannot be repaired at the roadside, or within a day at a local garage, they will take you all plus car + caravan home, or to your original destination. Car hire cost is also included.

They are also able to provide an emergency replacement driver, should the original one become unfit. They also cover misfueling too.

The only thing it doesn't cover for £34.95, is homestart. The cover which includes that is £15 extra, which seemed not worthwhile for me, because it would be very unlikely I would need it and not a problem if I did - likely I would be better able and equipped than them, to fix it. I had no idea the homestart formed such an expensive part of a package. Chances of my breaking down within 1 mile of home, quite tiny for me, but I suppose they will get lots of call outs from people stuck at home with flat batteries and flat tyres.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
