Just make a MUSIC folder in the root of the card and put your music files in there.You can only access music files on the satnav card after pressing the Satnav icon or a short tap on the on/off button then using the music player from the console menu.When you open the music player you just navigate to the folder where the music is stored to play it.

Not tried putting them on the Satnav card, but you could put them on a another card and put that card in the left hand slot - as I have done. You can then select the card via the Mode button.
