Slight thud on pickup
Hi all
CDT auto I've recently started to notice a slight thud after slowing down and then accelerating. It only happens at low speeds. It is difficult to describe but resembles the thud I used to get on my much earlier cars when the propshaft donuts were worn. Any ideas? Thanks Geoff |

Just had the same thing with mine, if it's under your pedal area there is a good chance that is you lower engine mount

Being an auto, it could be a solenoid at fault or even the transmission fluid.

I've had the lower engine mount go on me and that would cause a thud on low acceleration.
I've also had a solenoid at fault on my old 75 auto which would cause a thud on low acceleration, but the car would also jolt forward at the same time. |
