Default Ring ril70 magnetic tool light (6201f)

Bought one of these off E-bay £2.34 inc delivery.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ring-Auto.../142347944419?
Saw it somewhere where someone suggested attached to a suitable screwdriver it was useful to locate handbrake adjuster at 11 o/clock on rear brake drums. Not sure tiny L521 battery lasts too long and cannot locate replacement.

RING RIL70 MAGNETIC TOOL LIGHT (6201F) currently on clearance at Screwfix.
Order on line for next day collection £0.99 each inc VAT.

Mine just arrived. It's brill 'cos it frees up my torch-holding hand to assist in tight, dark places (this is not a euphemism!)

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the link but if you open the gizmo I cannot see a button battery.
If you find it let me know.

Thanks, Peter.

Hi Geoff,

Yes I can open the EBay link OK. The issue I have is when you open the magnetic Tool LED light (gizmo) I cannot locate an L521 button battery.
All I can see is a miniature AAAA battery about the size of a gnats dangly bit.
Let me know what you find.

Thanks, Peter.

The L521 battery is alkaline, a silver oxide equivalent will last longer.
The silver oxide equivalents are SR521SW, 379, V379, D379, others are available.

The small black cylinder that you can see actually holds 3 batteries!
