I'm not convinced it will improve your mpg around town but the 160 map certainly does no harm to the economy but on the plus side it will transform the way the car drives for the better!

Have a word with Trikey as he is right on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk and i can certainly reccomend his services

I had 160 remap done a while ago. Improved mpg and, most certainly, improved performance. Go for it!

I had my 131 diesel remapped 2 years ago by Club member. Strangely have not noticed improved performance but mpg better by say 10%. Cost £100.

If your diesel 75 is using too much fuel, it is likely to be due to a) type of drivign e.g. mostly at slow speed in traffic or b) the engine/drivertrain not running optimally. A remap is not likely to lead to a significant improvement in fuel consumption.

Before thinking about a remap, which is primarily a performance enhancing change, I would book the car in with an expert i.e. Trikey so that he can check it all out and carry out any work that is necessary in oredr to make it run optimally.

Kerridges are in Needham Market and excellent but you will be paying main dealership rates oif you go there. I would suggest taking a trip to Trikey.

Out of interest, what MPG do you get and what type of driving do you do?

You wont need such a heavy foot post map so your consumption might improve either that or you will get there quicker

Good idea to get the health check done, in addition is yours getting properly up to temperature? (don't rely on the '9 O'clock needle for this, look at the diagnostics). Weak thermostats are common on diesel 75s and cost fuel.
