Exclamation Strange indicator / heater issue

Here's on for you folks.

My 75 heater (none aircon) and indicators have all decided not to work.

Indicators work fine on the outside but nothing from the dash.

Also it's showing me the boot / door light constantly.

Has anyone seen this before?

I've checked fuses 4/5/11 don't know what next.

What was the fault Colin?
I gather something to do with the FBH, but what did you do to rectify the issue?

Hi There

I have just picked up exactly the same fault on my 2.5 V6 , indicators work but don’t show up , heater sort of working but coming up er, basically nothing is indicating on my dash, but working.

Just Wondered what you did to rectify it. Is FBH the fuel burn heater?

Any help appreciated

Thanks SD1too. Looks like a day of unplugging things. I see the k bus is fairly documented, I’ll have a tinker tomorrow. I have just changed the carpet on it, so centre console was out, maybe something hasn’t plugged back in properly like the stereo

Quick update incase anyone else has a similar problem. Fixed this morning, it turned out to be A short on my Highline sat nav system. As soon as I unplugged the the blue connector on the back of the sat nav display In centre console, everything came back to life again.

Hope this helps others

Maybe RAVE is wrong but it lists two 12 pin connectors at the rear of the high line display unit:
  • C0815 black with blue cover
  • C0816 black with natural cover

C0815 carries only the video outputs from the video module. That's the one with a blue cover!

C0816 carries the K bus on pin 6.

Matt; did re-seating the connector you disconnected cure the problem?
