Post Wiper problem on 45.

The wipers won't turn off on my 45 when ignition is on. Any ideas please.

Might be worth having a word with this guy. Sounds like it could be an issue with the Pektron unit

I've had a word with him and he says and he says it's either the wiper stalk or the wiper motor.I hope it's the stalk because the wiper motor looks a shocker to get to.

Well I'm pleased to say after leaving the car parked up for a couple of hours it has resolved itself.It is the second gremlin within a week.I parked it at the shops last week,came back to the car and it was completely dead when I tried to start it again,not even a click.Left it a few minutes and it started again and has been fine since.I can't complain,it has been a loyal and reliable daily since 2012 and afterall it is coming up to 17 years old.It will continue to get whatever it needs to keep it in good running order.I plan to semi retire it in the not too distant future and give it a well earned rest

Sounds as though it was immobilized ,
Have you changed your Key fob battery recently ? as had similar when battery was tired .

That's a good point. They haven't haven't been changed recently and they get a lot of use, so I'll do that. Thanks.
