Slight thud on pickup

Hi all
CDT auto

I've recently started to notice a slight thud after slowing down and then accelerating. It only happens at low speeds. It is difficult to describe but resembles the thud I used to get on my much earlier cars when the propshaft donuts were worn.

Any ideas?

Just had the same thing with mine, if it's under your pedal area there is a good chance that is you lower engine mount

Being an auto, it could be a solenoid at fault or even the transmission fluid.

My money is on the lower engine mount too.

My one looked like this:

A new one sorted out the clunk!

I've had the lower engine mount go on me and that would cause a thud on low acceleration.

I've also had a solenoid at fault on my old 75 auto which would cause a thud on low acceleration, but the car would also jolt forward at the same time.
