Help, get the name of a house
I want to try and get the name of a house that is up for sale.
Estate agent is closed. I know the road and some of the post code. Too far to drive too. Lots of sites via a Google search but none I have found list the names or allow me to pin point the name of the house in the road. There must be some out there? Have you a free one that's proven that you can direct me too? thanks macafee2 |

Have you tried looking from the pictures in the advertisement to see if you can locate it in relation to other dwellings nearby?
You could try searching to see if it's on other sites and there may be a slip up in the descriptions revealing what you are after? Can you pinpoint the road using Zoopla, i.e. the house values, seeing if it's listed? Good luck. |

Since my original post I have looked on an OS map and found a couple of farm names in the same road, Googling the names I have the post code. I think the post code covers the house I want to look at. Going to the Land Registry and adding the road name and post code gives me the other house names in the post code.
We will try another Google search for each property and see what we can eliminate and if we get a direct hit. I don't know if estate agents are being cagy or there is a security reason for not giving house name and post code but by hook or crook I'm sure the full property details can be found. macafee2 |

As you think you now have a post code, I would suggest a search on Zoopla.

End of a lane, fields all around, probably no mains drains and no mains gas, run down, small house, no lawn garden more rough grass, garage but it has small out buildings. Not sure how much land or what land is part of the property. I'd need to build a garage workshop, may be two storey so it can have a self contained flat and I would need a caravan port and gym. Always fancied an indoor heated swimming pool but very expensive and probably would not get used so I know that's only a dream Footpath across fields into town or a walk along a canal into town. macafee2 |
