Default Heater blowing cold passenger side

Hi all
As per title. The heater is blowing cold on the passenger side and hot on the driver's side.
Ideas please. --- Heater matrix? Air lock?
Radiator was changed about 9 months ago
Thanks

Sounds like it needs a good flush not a hard job drop some wynns radiator flush drive round for a day then reverse flush the complete system then top up with fresh antifreeze should take 30 minutes to do.

The usual way to remove silt from the passenger side is to attach a mains hosepipe to the heater outlet hose at the firewall. With the inlet hose also disconnected, give the matrix a good blast. Typically, the blockage is limescale sediment that will be flushed out as a sludge. In more severe cases, an acid treatment with a kettle descaler might be needed but in severe cases, a new matrix is the obvious fix.
