Its been on the bbc several times over the years, I think there's even been a couple of programmes about it. Sounds similar to that ghost airport in Spain.

Just to add into this post, in some industries the statement "BER" stands for :
Beyond Economical Repair. It seems this project has been plagued from the start, and will continue to generate problems. |
