Sounds like someone has replaced the fir tree clip with a screw and the card has separated at the top right, where it gets most "bounce" as the door closes (hence the use of the fir tree clip).

The natural coloured fir tree clips are the best for this application, the yellow e-bay ones are made of a different plastic and are softer.
