Door handle / threaded rod / white clip
My passenger door external handle stopped working ! Based on memories from a few years ago and threads on here I suspected the threaded rod and the white plastic clip problem , so pulled off the door card and had a look . Sure enough , the rod had pushed through the clip and was sticking out the bottom of it .
My question is about unfastening the clip . Once my hand was in the door I couldn't see a thing , but have somehow managed to undo the clip , adjust the rod and refasten the clip ; everything works again Jammy or what ? But I can't be sure I have secured the clip ok Does anyone have a picture of the clip in its opened-up position , in case I need to do it again ?

Thread No 58 has some pics of rear door which is similar I think? :-
https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...ctuator&page=6 I think that some folks fit a cable tie around white clip after fitting too.
