Sorry, I was referring to the seats. Cant make my mind up whether everything painted in the footwell was through choice or the rattle can exploded.

You do have to wonder about whoever thought that was a good idea - looks like there's even paint overspray on the carpets and door rubbers.

someone's even been let loose with the copper coloured paint on the brake callipers - at least I hope it's paint and not copaslip

Looking closely at the back seats, I don't think they've been recovered, I reckon it's been done with upholstery paint (or similar) .

Looking closer at the pics of the front seats, looks like you could be right - see what looks like fading where the two colours meet.

Still begs the question. Why?
