Realised there was a load of rubbish in the tourer that had been there since Christmas Fired the tourer up and did a tip run and added a few miles just for the sake of it. Running so many cars is getting harder, maybe time to thin the fleet a bit....

What I did with my Rover 75/MG ZT today?
Found out why my drivers window had started making funny noises, and then refused to go down.🙄
Luckily had a spare regulator, so sorted that out. Then removed the bumper to change a headlight, with a corroded full beam connector. Also cleaned our drivers side switch pack, to get mirror operation working again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finally received the oil filter in the post. Weeks late!
Took my car down for an oil change (I provided the oil and filter). Garage was busy, so they dropped me off back home, said would drop the car back later. They did not, so no car for the evening... Eventually got it back next morning, and they waived the labour cost (only £15 + vat) due to the inconvenience. Nice one! Every little helps...

Surprisingly enough for one of these cars, I've replaced a defective dipped beam bulb this morning

I was taking Mrs MB to work, it was dark and I was outside the house, and I can't abide cars with one light working. Anyway, it added a whole three and a half minutes to the start of the journey by replacing it, so I made that up in a slight increase in speed ......no one was late Brian |
