New Member / Old Car
I have just registered as BRG75, in your club; the reason being that I intend to buy a 75 at some time in the new year.
I was fortunate to take delivery of a 75 1.8 club, on the 5th April 2000. This was my final company car, and I passed it on with some 115,000+ miles on the clock in February 2003. I had to negotiate to get this car, as it wasn't on the company list, and it's future residual book value made it quite expensive to lease (compared to it's competitors). The car was faultless apart from a blocked rain water vent, which flooded the passenger foot well quite early on, and a head gasket at about 90,000 miles. The registration was W 538 UHJ, in British Racing Green with Beige Interior. I had to sacrifice a V6 engine, in order to get a sunroof and auto box into my budget. If it's by any chance a member's car now, I can put some sort of history together. Roof Bars and a Towing Bracket were bought in the summer of 2000. I have a slight preference this time round for a tourer, and should this end up being the case, then both the roof bars and bracket will become available. I have kept them since 2003, as I always suspected that I might get another 75 in the future. May I also add that I was very impressed with the web site, when looking at it yesterday. Regards Mike |

Warm welcome, this is indeed a remarkable club with a breadth of knowledge you won't find anywhere else. Despite the 75 not being enough to save Rover it has an incredible loyal following.
Great to hear about your story, and the fact you've kept a soft spot for them all these years shows what many others have found - they really get under your skin! |

to this great club Mike. Like the cars, it can become addictive. I hope you find the car you want. Do look at the members cars for sale forum. You will be able to trust any car you find on there.
Chad.

Being nosey , I just did a "vehicle search" on the DVLA website but came up with a "no records" answer . I assume this means it is no longer with us
If you have a record of the V5C Document Reference Number then you may be able to get more info

Got my 75 off this site when I was not even looking for one. You already know how good they are and yes there are some crackers in "For Sale" at the moment. Grab a bargain now.
