I accidentally overdosed on the antibiotics and suddenly feeling better. Mike took me out for a drive this afternoon and we went to the ACE cafe where we had a cup of tea.

There were 2 pretty girls in biker leathers who asked him to take photos of themselves ...lucky blighter

Lunch = medium cod and chips in Trencher's Restaurant (gluten free for SWMBO, including vinegar and tartare sauce); mid afternoon snack = latté with gluten free walnut and coffee cake (an enormous slice too - with the offer to bag it and take it home if you can't eat it all) at The Walrus & The Carpenter café. Brilliant place for coeliac sufferers - EVERYTHING in the place is gluten free - and the chef/owner suffers from the illness, so he knows what is necessary when it comes to baking
Beautiful day too - 19.5° according to the car - blue skies, sunshine, wind off the land - absolute perfection

Better day for me today at work, less stress thankfully

My day off tomorow now involves going to Spingfield Hospital in Chelmsford, picking my Dad up and driving him to Milton Keynes where he will be staying with friends for a couple of days to recover from his sinus operation.
Apparently you can suffer post op bleeding so you have to be supervised!
