Aches and pains, dodgy stomach and goosebumps not to mention a banging headache were all present... So after completing a few task, an early bedtime and big lay in seems to have fixed it all! Might need an LCOZ nurse though!
Sorry Stu to hear you are poorly, being in the front line you are subjected to all the bugs and lurgies going. I wish you a speedy recovery.

I accidentally overdosed on the antibiotics and suddenly feeling better. Mike took me out for a drive this afternoon and we went to the ACE cafe where we had a cup of tea.

There were 2 pretty girls in biker leathers who asked him to take photos of themselves ...lucky blighter

We called into a pub in Farnham for a beer before heading back north again . . . . ye gods, what a dive this place was, the chairs looked like ones your Granny had and there was hardly two alike, locals growled at you when you went in, to be honest all that was missing was sawdust on the floor
So you made a good first impression on the locals then

Lunch = medium cod and chips in Trencher's Restaurant (gluten free for SWMBO, including vinegar and tartare sauce); mid afternoon snack = latté with gluten free walnut and coffee cake (an enormous slice too - with the offer to bag it and take it home if you can't eat it all) at The Walrus & The Carpenter café. Brilliant place for coeliac sufferers - EVERYTHING in the place is gluten free - and the chef/owner suffers from the illness, so he knows what is necessary when it comes to baking
Beautiful day too - 19.5° according to the car - blue skies, sunshine, wind off the land - absolute perfection
Nice to see that you are taking care of Angela, your sister and yourself Rod. Looks good

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better Phil - I'm in such rude good health at the moment - I'm worried that I can only go downhill from here

All the happiness that used to be

Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Evening Anthony,

Better day for me today at work, less stress thankfully

My day off tomorow now involves going to Spingfield Hospital in Chelmsford, picking my Dad up and driving him to Milton Keynes where he will be staying with friends for a couple of days to recover from his sinus operation.
Apparently you can suffer post op bleeding so you have to be supervised!
