I managed to drive Banana home. My neighbours have rallied round and supplied me with an amazing ice pack.

I was supposed to be going to a Mas dinner tomorrow evening but I don’t think I’ll be able to drive. Will have to see in the morning.

Ouch.....Not what you needed Bob.
Hopefully your ice pack will have reduced the swelling and fingers crossed for making your dinner date.

It's a clever bit of kit as it can be two drawers with separate cooking settings or one large draw if you remove the divider and set it to 'mega zone' .

After having the large Woodfire Grill/BBQ/AirFryer unit we wanted to keep the ability to cook whole roast dinners in the AirFryer and this unit should do the trick.

We have a whole leg of lamb to cook tomorrow for Sunday Dinner so that will be a test run for doing the Christmas Turkey dinner

Morning all. Dry but that's not supposed to last, even an amber warning for up to 200mm of rain across the west tonight/tomorrow.

Any news Bob, are you going to make it or will it be a cheese sarnie for dinner?

Good morning all, good morning Jeff,

Steve, I don’t know about Belly Pork or Jeff’s liking for Faggots!

Jeff, eating gives you a lot of pleasure, so it’s great you should treat yourself to the Ninja. Why not buy two for larger get togethers or 2 homes? would it another work on Lady Emma? Is it an energy saving device? Forgive my ignorance.

My brother bought 2, one for his home and one for the beach house. We may well splash out and buy one for the house in Nairobi.

Jeff, please do keep us posted with lots of photos of your adventures with the Ninja.

This morning we are going out walking and this week I have been managing stairs normally, it’s all progress in the right direction.

Tomorrow I will be remembering Derek as it will be the anniversary of his passing. What a character he was and a good friend to many of us.

Talking of trains - We were out picking up a Gumtree purchase in the wilds of Suffolk last week and I had to (for the first ever, time in my life) use an unmanned, gated railway crossing. I picked up the phone and was told exactly what to do. He asked what I was driving and how long it would take me to cross and I was given permission to do so. Easy peasy! (... and I did remember to close the gates!). I still looked both ways, just in case!

Afternoon all, It's been a dry sunny day for the most part so lots more drying of things in the garage, Chopped back the purple hazel tree in the corner of the garden before it gets too tall to manage, It grows at an incredible rate & the branches I chopped off are straight as a die & 6 feet tall, I'm not buying bamboo canes this year for the greenhouse tomatoes

Even gave the car a snowfoam & cleaned the interior too, Just had a red hot bath to ease the aching back & made some corned beef hash for tea tonight with pickled beetroot Yum.

Missus has been putting the Christmas tree & decs up.

I don't think I've ever had to do that & speak to the signalman.

Yep those Westerns sound great & are loud beggers too. I'll be on the Blackpool, Ormskirk, Preston route tonight set in the late 80's which is BR Class 142 Pacer era.
