Default How do I upload a picture

To the forum, as I need help with a certain component from my CDTi.

When you click add picture, it asks for the URL? but I want to upload from my Laptop.

When you are writing your post, look below the dialog box and you will see 'Attach Files' and 'Manage Attachments' - click on this. Another dialog box will open, then click on 'Choose File'... OK?

Hi There Bob

You already know about the problems i have with pictures

Well, I just tried your current tip, and surprise, surprise, nothing ! I followed your instructions, and when i tried to upload file it says 'no file found'. The picture I tried to download was a jpeg. from my own picture library on my laptop. What the h... am I doing wrong.

I believe you have to be a subscribed member to upload to the forum server. Otherwise, you must use a hosting service like Photobucket and link it to your post using the Photoshop URL.

Hi Alf, howzit buddy?

I know this will sound stupid, but after you select a photo you do press 'open' don't you? And then 'upload'....

Well Bill,
here is another go !

Well, just tried again, nothing. I went to 'manage attachments went to 'choose file', 'OPENED the file ( jpeg in my picture library) I wanted, it then went through the file loading process, but when finished, said ' no file found ?

I must have a jinx when it comes to piccies.

at the bottom of the quick reply section it says "go advanced" then after it reopens klik the paper clip icon next to smiley face icon it will open another box to browse your files on your pc after click attach and it will load after you place your wording in
