Bridgeton Bus Garage - Annual Open Day

I thought I'd post this to see if there is some interest.

Although not cars (but I think some are there along with trucks and other vehicles) I think this would be quite an interesting visit. If there is enough interest we can organise meeting times etc and maybe lunch afterwards? Post a reply if you fancy going along.

Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust. The annual Open Day is on Sunday 12 October at Bridgeton Bus Garage, Broad Street entrance, Glasgow, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

As well as an opportunity to see the GVVT collection there will be visiting vehicles, sales stalls, the Clippie's Cafe, etc, etc.

A frequent free bus service using a variety of historic vehicles will link Bridgeton Garage with Glasgow City Centre and the Riverside Museum.

Admission prices: Adults £6, Concessions £4, Family £15. Free entry if you join the Trust on the day.

Keith, Id rather keep it as just a casual visit because there has been a lot going on (events) the past month or two right upto the National at the end of Sept then this would follow two weeks later. I wouldnt want to contact the GVVT at this late stage as im sure they will already be orgnised for their day but . . . when we are there, we could check it out as a possibible show/display next year but . . . . it's hoped National will be around the same time in Scotland next year.
