Default Fao all Zt and Zt-t owners, both mk1 and mk2 - who can help?

Lookin all zt/zt-t (mk1 and 2) owners for a tiny easy help.

I need a few people to measure their grille Mg badge size and the boot Mg badge size. Get the tape measure out!

IF they are standard accross the range, have a we look and see if your various cars match the measurements below. Thanks.

Mk1 zt
Front grill mg badge - 59mm
Rear mg badge - 40mm

Doing a bit of research and may be able solve the fading badge problem for everyone.

Make sure any of these badges get a good coat of a sealer before installing. I used clear nail varnish, which lasted over 4 years before the dreaded de-lamination started.
I am about to install a new one, this time I intend a few coats of clear lacquer as I have some available. I'll report back in 4 years or less.

If you are going for a replacement should be 57mm and 40mm (ZT) 44mmZTT)

I've been involved with the ZT enamel badges so have some dealings with the sizes. The 40mm rear is very tight and if I was going to do it again would reduce to 39mm.

Back of the om ones and the two-sixties relacement

From Sharky's car, dark front highlights it better than my silver.
