Give me another few months, and I'll catch that one up! On petrol power, too, heehee.
Does go to show that the 75 is very capable of racking up huge mileage figures and still be nicer than cars from other manufacturers with 200,000 miles less on the clock.

I wonder what the ride is like when they get that high.
I may have a 150 mile a day commute to work and I was thinking of getting a high mile oil burner just for the task. But I was thinking high miler would be about 100k

Well, I can only speak for 216,000 miles, but I quite regularly go in a friend's 2001 52,000 mile Connie SE which in terms of ride is absolutely identical to mine. You'd really not know any difference between the two if blindfolded, aside from mine not having leather. If anything, his has perhaps a little more road noise!
I think the 75 itself (regardless of engine) holds up to the miles remarkably well if looked after.

I want to thank you all for making me feel happy and relaxed that I'm coming up to my 100k birthday. Working on the car this afternoon it looks far less than half its age. I can see that 1/4 million miles is going to be nothing for these cars.

You could have a 100k car for the same price by the time you are finished? |
