Default Rover V8 front on a ZT-T?!!

Spotted on the M6 on Saturday, turned off at Cannock.

One question - what the hell???!!! Was definately a standard ZT-T given the rear and the tailpipes!

Hmm sounds nice, love to see how they blend in the MG motif.

Could also be that MG Front bumpers are short supply or were at the moment.
MK1 and MK2 Rover Types readily available. (other than V8 full)

...and after re reading most probably because the V8 Rover bumper looks so much better than the MG one!

Absolutely certain! Looked very weird with a ZT/75 hybrid design! It was behind me, overtook only slightly faster than me, and we came off the Cannock exit of the M6 in unison and around 2 roundabouts.

There was a ZT with the V8 front when we went over for the Luxembourg meet, there is a picture some where.

Gert or Jurgen might be able to find it

If this is thecar i'm tinking it is, it was for sale about 12 months ago at shareshill car sales, only a couple of miles from cannock. The sales man there told me it was a company directors car that he had from new.

It was a 2.o cdti with the v8 bumper and was grey, it had half leather but a plus pack as had parking sensors, trip, auto mirror, and rain sensors

Might be the same one

Andrew
