I'm not superstitious, but I'll tempt fate anyway........
Just to try and balance the "problem-led bias" inherent with this type of site, and say that my cdt is just fine, running like a good'un, and looking very nice, well polished. 145000 miles reached last week, what a fantastic car.
And I just wanted to tell everybody! Hope I'm not the only one.......... Malcolm PS The JZR's a different story, it just won't start when it's been running, unless I put cold plugs in!! Starts from cold no problem.

My 2002, 130k, CDT just went through her MOT this morning with no problems, not even any advisories, and thats the 2nd year in a row like that! Also she is on her original clutch although I think that may well be starting to show signs of being on the way out - but we shall see.

My CDT will be ten years old next month and I've owned her nearly nine years. It's never had any major problems, the compressor flew to bits about eight years ago but that was repaired under warranty. Everything else is original except a brake pipe or two, brake pads and and the crankshaft and camshaft sensors. I think the next replacement will be the rear silencer. She's due for test at the end of next month so we'll see.
