I am of the same thought and love the romance of steam. I have hijacked another clip from U tube for your delectation and delight.

We recently took the neighbours kids on a Santa special from Loughborough on the Great Central Railway, it was for this old fool really.

My passion for steam was reawakened when I crossed Lake Michigan on the SS Badger Steam Ferry after visiting the Manitowoc submarine museum. The hire car company were probably not so pleased when they had to clean all the soot off the Cadillac.

It wasn't pulling Pullman carriages and went through Staines?

If so I saw the engine just after it had passed and saw the carriages trundle past.

If it was her - DAMN!

Default Tornado to appear on Top Gear.

Last saturday 25/4/09 Tornado took part in one of Top Gears famous road trips from Kings Cross up to Edinburgh with JC on the footplate, hamster in an old Jag and captain slow on an old motorbike, should be a good one to look out for in the new series.

A friend of mine who was really into steam trains, was actually run over by one last year.

He was chuffed to bits.
