Yes, go to your nearest XPart agent armed with your V5 and order a new one, it will take around ten days, and cost you about £170 exc.

If its your only key that's gone missing turn the house upside down to try to find it. Getting a key through XPart might not seem cheap but the only other option is a major undertaking. There is a thread about one Russ did recently, apparently took about 16 hours. These are the "highlights" from that thread.
If the car has been locked with the remote the doors will not open from the inside even after a window has been smashed to gain entry. The driver's door card has to be removed to open the door. From a donor car you need the driver's door lock (boot lock as well if a mk1), steering column with ignition barrel, there is a built in weak point in the steering lock to prevent drilling the ignition barrel out. Once all that is done then considerable T4 reprogramming has to be done.

I once came out of a friends house, unlocked my car and started to drive off as I heard shouting. I had got in the wrong car. Mine was about three doors down!!! (Austin A35 in light blue)

My 260 only had one key when I bought it but the previous owner lived in the same town as Russ. Spare key, T4 once over, tea then headed north.

Only got one key when I bought my tourer, but found it had been a one owner car and passed via auction within the trade to the dealer I bought it from. Found it had been bought from and serviced by Luffield at Loughborough, and made contact. Wadge of service history arrived in the post next day free and contact details of previous owner. I got in touch and he still had the second spare key, so he kindly sent that on too!

I lost one of the keys to my 75 and often wondered, but just bought another. Quite a bit later I was looking for my camera and then my mobile 'phone but never found them, odd that. Then a while after I unlocked the 75, jumped in and found the handbrake off, in gear and the ashtray jammed open, I'd never do that. It all made sense, not odd at all.

Then the 75 hit a lamp post, that's a story for another day.
