Default Genuine rubber mats insane prices wanted.

I've got a set of genuine carpet mats for the ZT but for winter use to save the OEM ones would like a set of washable rubber mats (75 ones as no MG's) as they are a perfect fit which universal ones never do.

Now, I know they are discontinued and fairly rare but a used set was on the bay a couple of weeks ago for around £68-£70 bin which was to much for me so kept looking. Today another set on for £150 .

I know they're only worth what someone will pay and all that, but, is that the price range what people are paying for them ??????

Anything over £30-£40 seems an insane amount for secondhand rubber mats with wear on them.

There was a set of the MG rubber ones on eBay last week, they sold for £60 which seemed value as they were in really good condition and the MG version is rare as a rare thing. That said, if you're going to pay for a set of these, get the MG version rather than the rover one if you can

I have a set of rover ones in my tourer, to be honest, badge aside, they aren't all that.

A long time ago I enquired with X-Part at getting some re-made but there wasn't enought interest

I sold mine with the car to Laney... my dad has some mint ones in his ZTT with the MG badges on. He has always used another rubber mat over the OEM ones. I do the same with the Evoque - strange eh!

If I were putting them in an MG I'd hold out for a set of these

Well, with those sort of prices they must be approaching classic status at last .....

Its unreal the prices some people are putting on these mats.. I like to have original mats in my cars, but I would never pay these prices.. more fool anyone that would.. I assume that set of £150 is still on ebay?

I believe that there's some rears for sale on another 75/ZT website and the seller is currently asking for offers.

There was a set of new old stock rears on eBay last week for £25 delivered - an unworn driver's mat is the holy grail when it comes to these sets
