Default Fence Paint? Purple???!

Does anyone know where you can buy (if you can buy) purple fence paint? I've been looking for ages and had no success. Google has churned out nothing and the employees of B&Q and Homebase looked at me as if I was bonkers (yes I probably am but...)

I would like a purple fence you see!

Buy some red fence paint and some blue fence paint and mix your own.

I did think of that but then I thought what happens if I run out and then mix it and its a different shade! It would bug me! Although if I get desperate I may try!

Focus DIY stores have a Dulux Colour Mixer system whereby you can mix colours to a specification. If they could mix outdoor paint then you could ask for a batch to be done. This way, the batch would be consistent as it uses a computerised measuring system to determine how much of a certain colour is added.

Measure the quantities then you'll get it right every time.

Hmmm... good idea! I know the machine can do the paint (altho not fence paint) outdoor paint, when I worked at homebase we never stocked the base coats for it but if they did... Thanks Simon!

As you say, I can't promise Focus will stock the bases for the outdoor paints but it's always worth a shot. Maybe even they could order some or use some plain white outdoor paint instead of the suplied interior bases...? Always worth asking...
