I also have this issue but .ine is a turbo.visually inspected coilpacks and leads, all looks good.wonder if an o2 sensor is dodgey.saying that though my end exhaust manifold stud has a stripped thread which probably dont help.

Exactly like that. As if you switch from Full AC to Econ, and you suddenly feel the boost of raw power from the beast that lurks under the hood. Mine seems to still be a kitten, but one it'll grow up .
Regarding the sprakplugs, would I be naive to think they are already set to this gap from the factory?

I replaced my sensor in the exhaust manifold 6 months ago. So I'm hoping that isn't the problem. I still have one extra (bought to much) but I'm hoping it is something more innocent.
