Default gearbox oil change 2.5 auto

had my car nearly 5 years and want to change the oil,ive looked at previous threads but it sounds a night mare what is the best oil to use and should i just follow the haynes

Carlube ATF-U, drain the oil out using the large drain plug.

Refill with the same amount that came out.

Foot on brake with engine running, select each gear in turn leaving in each gear for 3-4 seconds, all the way down to 2. Then the same procedure up the gearbox until you are back in park.

Switch engine off then remove the level plug, wait until it stops dripping then refit the plug.

That all there is to it!

can i jack up one corner to gain access or does it have to be level

HI Andy.
Would you happen to know what was the genuine Auto gearbox oil used on our cars, also do the diesel & petrol differ, is the oil in the link below ok to use ?
