I was parked up in a multi storey car park at Brent Cross a few days ago sitting in the car checking messages on the phone. I had parked in an area where there were no other cars....(as one does). Suddenly there was a tap on the window. An elderly couple said how immaculate and new the car looked. The man told me how he had been the main Rover dealer for Camden Town back in the day and he knew all the specs for the 75 with the real wood dash. I thanked him and his wife for the compliments and they thanked me for keeping the car looking so pristine. A positive and feel good experience

It is nice when you get complimented like that

Good afternoon Rod, I like being in the UK as its the best country in the world and that's not any BS, also looking forward to seeing Jessica as she has been gone for 2 months. The climate in Kenya is beginning to warm up. 27C in Nairobi and 30C at the coast. In the meantime I am thinking of driving to visit my brother in Devizes, Jeff in Clacton, Rev Jules - somewhere out in the sticks

Thank you Julien. All ok now. Some repairs next year but they can wait no ailments to complain about

Totally agree Phil - perhaps some of the people on the internet who do nothing but slag off our Country and complain about what a horrible place the British Isles has become should go to Africa with you and see another side of life
