Default Tourer Tailgate strut reinforce MOD (Arctic)

I sourced 40 of the reinforcement plate last year shown in Arctic's Post #12 on this thread. These help to avoid premature tourer tailgate strut mounting failure, due to metal fatigue, by spreading the load over a bigger area.

Arctic's other more economical solution in the links above is Screwfix Pt No 66707, but this is currently out of stock.

Many of the Pemsa plates were supplied to Tourer owners at my Breakfast meets.
Some were purchased by other members at £1 each plus £1 posted within UK.
Total £3. Postage abroad will be at Cost (eg Republic of Ireland and Germany) is £3 so Total £5 /pair.
I may be able to source some more but will drive 30 miles each way to collect them.
I now have them, can Members PM me let me know how many they need and provide full name and address details.

Peter.

I’ve just purchased two of these!

They do them individually or in packs of 10 or 20.

Downside is the branding on the plate!

Peter.
And I am thankful Peter. Due to their position any colour difference doesn't really matter.

Hello Peter. Sorry about my mailbox problem. My paid membership ended just the other day and I think this was the difficulty. I have just renewed and all should now be well if you would be kind enough to send another pm. If that doesn't work, I will monitor this thread so you could contact me through here. Thanks Jeremy
