Hi Simon, that is interesting, and also something that must have an answer or an evident cause....and a cure...though there are always 'mysteries' with cars of all types and their individual problems.
I've sent you a PM in order to maybe explore this further, and also as I see you have an SD1. Probably the best looking car of all time, especially in Broadspeed form! ( ...and in my humble opinion, of course ).
