The dreaded cooling fan
Just got home this evening got stuck in some slow traffic when the dreaded temp gauge when into the red, luckily managed to stop the car straight away.Called the RAC out see what was wrong and after a few checks diagnoised the cooling fan not cutting in was causing the problem.
Hopefully off to see Andy and the guys at Upchuch in the morning to help me out. Malcolm

Thanks, I'll add the link to my favourites. I didn't see any mention of Mots, do yo do them? I used to be an MOT tester but the dealer I work for now doesn't do them and the last place I took it for an Mot at almost made me cry when I saw them driving the car down the road hard then almost bottoming it out as they drove it onto the forecourt and switched it off instantly (turbo) I'm very particuar about my car so i'd drive a long way if I thought my car was getting lovin'
