i had heard that dreadnought wouldn,t put a blower on the rover v8 variant because of the softer handling, is the autobox not the one used in certain american cars with much higher bhp?

No its simply due to the mapping of the autobox to compensate the extra power etc.

The box will take it, im surprised no one has asked someone like superchips to try and code the autobox.

Out of interest, what model of Roush supercharger is used / can be used on the ZT V8?

Unfortunately they are like rocking horse `poo poo`. Ive only seen one for sale in the USA and that was for $8000 not including shipping and Tax.

I was very lucky to get mine last Nov from a Two-Sixties member who had bought a MG SV-S, complete Roush S/C`d engine from Mr W Riley. He kept the engine as a spare for his K&B S/C 260 and sold the Roush S/C to me. I was with him as we took the S/C off his engine and I had it fitted and mapped at JamSport Racing in Northampton in Feb this year. All in, the total cost was £3600. Alot of money for a toy I know, but well worth it
