Repairs, full service and fresh MOT
Had a call from MGR John this afternoon,
Extensive repairs completed, there was more welding than previously anticipated, fresh MOT today until 25 August 2022 with no advisories, full service, just some minor finishing off to do. She will be ready tomorrow. To coin a phrase, she's good to go. Last edited by Annfield-East; 26th July 2021 at 16:20.. |

Work done - lots of it!
Collected her from John yesterday, this is a list of work carried out/items renewed
Both rear suspension arms Both rear anti roll bar links Both rear springs Rear brake hoses and pipe ends Both upper rear bushes Offside sill welding Rear calipers Both external sills cleaned and undersealed Both front anti roll bar links renewed Both front flex hoses Both front brake pipes NSF brake caliper NSF wing, used, supply/fit. I painted it first. Full service New MOT until 25 August 2022 with no advisories Alternator checked as was suspected of overcharging Drivers seat valance secured Gear gaiter replaced Rear bumper aligned I completed painting the wing a couple of weeks ago, but will leave it a further two weeks to let the lacquer harden further before T-Cutting it back. At present its quite dull. I re-lacquered a small part of the side roof panel a few weeks ago, left it for a good three weeks to harden, and now it looks nice and glossy after being T-Cut. To coin a current buzz-phrase, she's good to go. Last edited by Annfield-East; 28th July 2021 at 10:04.. Reason: Correction. |

The nitty gritty work would have been completed by then if you had. She had to remain there until Monday at the earliest as that was the first day for MOT submission and retain the 12 month anniversary date.
